Isometric City

Illustrator | January 2024

About

For this project, I was tasked with creating a design using an isometric grid in Illustrator. I chose to design a nighttime cityscape illuminated by neon lights.

Challenge

One of the biggest challenges I faced in this project was adapting to designing on an isometric grid. Certain shapes, like the neon signs and the awnings on some stores, were particularly tricky to make look properly isometric.

Wine Label Series

Illustrator - Indesign | Febuary 2025

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

About

For this project, I was tasked with redesigning a set of two wine labels that I originally created during my second year. The label design should be different but connected to the brand identity.

Before

After

Challenge

The challenge here was to maintain a style like the original. I tried keeping the graphics and brand name in the same position. To enhance the old-map aesthetic, I added a grid that you see on maps, adjusted the label’s color, and changed the font for the brand name to give it an aged look. The difference between the two labels is the box color around the wine’s flavor, which distinguishes them but still preserving a consistent overall design.

Conceptual SQDC Poster

Photoshop | April 2024

= = = = = = = = = = = = = =

About

For this project, I was tasked with creating an original series of posters to promote a local product, brand, or attraction using a metaphor or rhetorical figure and an emotional appeal. I chose to do it on the SQDC.

Challenge

The main challenge of this project is that the posters should not show the actual product or attraction. I had to ensure unity across the series through consistent typography, theme, and composition, making sure that each poster works both individually and as part of the set.

About

For this project, I was tasked with designing a box packaging with the Art Nouveau style. The product that I will use for this box are small breath mints.

Challenge

The main challenge of this project was designing packaging for a box of mints, where each face of the box had to feature a design that was both similar and distinct.

After Hours App

VS Code | Febuary 2025

= = = = = = = = = = = = = =

About

For this project, I started with a basic timer app provided by our teacher and enhanced it with interactive elements and subtle animations. I aimed for a neon cyberpunk aesthetic, using vibrant colors.

Challenge

The interface must contain relevant animations/transitions throughout that highlight the interactions. The app’s design have a consistent style and visual language. I have to apply a custom design to all the elements of the app’s interface.

About

For this project, I was tasked with designing a training manual with the topic of my choice. I decided to do it on volleyball because I am already familiar with the sport.

Challenge

The main challenge of this project was organizing the content in a way that would fit seamlessly into a layout while ensuring it was easy for readers to follow and understand.
